Highs today reached into the mid-70?s with mostly sunny skies, low humidity and little wind. What a wonderful Sunday even though it ended a little early thanks to the return to Standard Time (sunset was at 5: 34p).
Today broke a streak of 80? days that started our November:
?
Lows tonight will drop down to the low 50?s. Mostly sunny skies are expected tomorrow with a brisk north wind by afternoon. Highs will reach into the low 70?s.
?
Weather is going to be nice for the work week ahead. We?ll be right back to the 80?s by Thursday as the winds turn to the south and get rather breezy. Winds will stay strong on Friday and Saturday as well on Sunday as a cold front arrives.
There is a chance for evening rain on Saturday, then a good chance of rain on Sunday with the front coming through. Highs on Sunday will stay in the low 70?s and could even be dropping into the 60?s.

NOR?EASTER HITS AREAS HIT BY SANDY
It appears that a major Nor?easter is going to develop by mid-week just off the coast of New Jersey and produce 50mph winds and heavy rain. It will also produce high surf in the same areas that saw extensive flooding by Sandy. This is where the GFS puts the storm on Wednesday night. Winds on the northern Jersey shore and Long Island will be from the east bringing high waves and strong winds:

SOME MORE ON THE COLD FRONT NEXT WEEKEND
As we get into next weekend a strong west coast storm gets across the Rockies and will produce a winter storm in the Dakotas.
?
The storm will produce a cold front that will reach into north Texas and bring cooler air. Right now the long range GFS model has the front arriving early Sunday morning just before the Fort Worth Marathon. It?ll very windy ahead and behind the front:
